A new found museum.
The year 2007 marked the reopening of Aix-en-Provence's Granet Museum to the general public and the completion of its renovation work. Nearly 600 paintings, sculptures and archaeological pieces are exhibited in the museum's halls. Discover works from the 17th century French school, as well as the hall dedicated to Paul Cézanne and collections from other European artists such as Rubens and Rembrandt. You'll also find a sculpture gallery, and in the Entremont Hall, Celto-Ligurian sculptures discovered at Entremont's archaeological site.
A temporary exhibition space retraces the history of travelling artists.
